The Dainese Manis D1 back protector is a CE Level 2 protector and is one of the most technically advanced pieces of protection available. It has 3 more degrees of freedom, giving it a close replication of the shapes of the human back in motorcycle racing positions. It can extend or retract to follow orse movements but also twist and bend to meet the movements laterally. This is the result of Dainese's 30 years of experience in the design of back protectors. There is also a layer of comfort material to ensure precise coupling with the surface of the back - it is also perforated and makes little actual contact with the body to give great lightweight ventilation.
