ACU National Rally 2018 7th July to 8th July

For the 2018 ACU National Rally, Bike Stop will once again be a finishing point and checkpoint. Riders are also welcome to start here.
We will be serving the entirety of our café menu for the duration of the event, including both hot and cold coffees, teas and other soft drinks, as well as a range of fresh, locally prepared sandwiches, paninis, wraps, salads and a selection of sweets.

Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Motorcycle Run and Show 20th May

We will be supporting this show as a sponsor and the star prize.
Plus we will be at the show with our super new display truck!

Made to Measure 24th March

Season Opener - Spidi Tour 10th & 11th March

To celebrate the, hopefully, fairer weather, and the addition on the fantastic Spidi range into Bike Stop, we are holding and open day in conjunction with Spidi and Norton Way Honda. There will be big Spidi Tour rideouts, as well as Honda demo bikes. Plusall the usual open day goodness with prizedraws, demo helmets and servicing, food and even more goodness. So much infact that we are open until 4pm on Sunday 11th.

ACS Custom Moulds are designed to give a perfect fit and ensure no sound leakage. They're made from a medical grade soft silicone to give a safe and comfortable fit, even when worn for prolonged periods.

As always, we look forward to next year, where we hope to be a checkpoint for the National Rally once more.

Ducati Fleet at Bike Stop 13th May to 14th May 2017

Rossi Suit at Bike Stop 8th July to 15th August 2017

From July 8th, as part of our 35 year celebrations we are proud to have been loaned one of Valentino Rossi's 2016 Factor D Airbag racing suits.
It's a light weight Kangaroo leather suit with airbag for the best protection and full data-logging. Surprisingly we can actually supply one of these to customers and for a great deal less than the £35,000 the last one sold for on eBay!
It will be here for around a month but please double check if you are coming from a long distance.

National Rally 2nd and 3rd July 2016

For the 2016 ACU National Rally we were proud to be made a finishing point on top of being a checkpoint replacing the Ace Cafe!
So not only did we see riders from noon on Saturday 2nd July through the night and look after them with sandwiches, water, Lavazza coffee and homemade cakes but we also served bacon and sausage rolls from 6am Sunday for the finishers. It was great to welcome more bikers than ever come through and also hear their gratitude for the rest and refreshments!
We look forward to helping out the Rally team again in July 2017.

National Rally 4th and 5th July 2015

The ACU National Rally runs every year and we are pleased to be a checkpoint offering refreshments to the motorcyclists riding up to 600 miles through the night! This year we will not only be offering Lavazza coffee and homemade cakes but also sandwiches and snacks. If you're participating, make sure you include us in your route, for the best rest stop in the UK!

Meldreth Manor School 30th RDMCC Show 17th June 2015

The Royston & Distric show is back for its 30th year, and is set to be bigger than ever. Raising over £150,000 for charities such as the East Anglian Air Ambulance, it is a great day out for a worthy cause. Expect hot dogs, burgers, chips, a hog roast, tea, coffee, soft drinks and just about every make of bike you can think of. Plus all of the entertainment the club will be putting on.

Season Opener Celebrity Weekend 25th & 26th April 2015

It is time again for our big Bike Stop Season Opener event and this year is going to be a good'n. To celebrate our new Pro Shop status we will have the Arai service team on hand and lots of demo helmets for you to try. Plus we will have a tasty barbecue on the go over the weekend. We will be running competitions with chances to win great prizes such as Bike Stop vouchers and BSB tickets. There will also be a live Dainese D-Air demonstration, as well as great new 2015 gear. Once again you can expect some very special guests.

Oakley Motorcycle Club Fair 26th July 2014

We have welcomed Oakley Members for a while in the shop but this is the first time we will be supporting their fair. So please come and say hello and chat about the latest gear.

A one day festival of motorcycles! From the Oakley guys:

Oakley Motorcycle Club (OMC) based in Oakley village near Bedford, is proud to announce that it is organising its first ever Bike Show, Oakley Bike Festival ’14 which will be aimed at providing a good fun day out for OMC members, non-members, motorcyclists and anyone with an interest in two wheeled machines!

The Festival is being supported by virtually all of the local motorcycle dealerships along with key organisations associated with motorcycling, motorcycle sport and the emergency services. In addition, certain motorcycling celebrities will be in attendance!

Most of our local motorcycle dealers will be at the Festival displaying the latest bikes in their line-up and local affiliate companies and supporters of OMC will also be displaying their goods and services.

Numerous one make clubs will be attending, along with many race bikes on display and, weather permitting, run-up as well! In addition, a ‘Bike of the Show’ competition is planned so start polishing now!

The Festival will stage a Show Raffle with some very desirable prizes and remember…..all the proceeds from the days activities will be going to our selected charity, the East Anglian Air Ambulance. A band will be playing during the afternoon with good, well priced food and drink available all-day.

General admission to the Festival will be FREE to all OMC members, accompanied children under 16 and invited guests and £2.50 per person for all other visitors. Opening times are from 11am to 5pm.

Royston & District Show (Meldreth) 18th June 2014

We really enjoy supporting this very popular evening at Meldreth Manor School. Come and say Hi as we bring along as many samples of products as we can and also offer our own prize draw as well.

Too late - what a shame, hope you saw it? Twelve times World Trials Champion: Dougie Lampkin displayed his stunning riding skills (as seen on BBC Top Gear!) both outside and inside the shop. We also had British Superbike Champion Tommy Bridewell here on the Sunday, and both days: Shoei and Arai teams to service your helmet and a Prize Draw with top prize being BSB VIP Tickets.
