The Misano 1000 leather jacket was launched in 2016 and was named as such to recognise the first 1000 deployments of Dainese airbags. It is also the first Dainese road/street designed jacket that is self-contained and does not need any kit fitted to the bike. For 2017 it is now known simply as Misano and has a larger airbag that now covers the chest , neck and back. It’s a sports style jacket offering the best levels of protection for road use with aluminium inserts on the shoulders and Dainese “D-Skin” leather which has been specifically treated to enhance the abrasive protection of the cowhide. Plus it includes, as standard, the new Dainese Pro-Armour for the back with its enhanced protection, flexibility and ventilation. For comfort the jacket has micro-elastic inserts and vents for cooling. For the sports bike rider, this really is the best protective and styled (includes race-hump) jacket or of course the fast naked bike rider and for the final piece of safety, it can be zipped to Dainese trousers.
