Details
With its innovative D-Air Racing system, Dainese has revolutionized the concept of motorcycle protection in order to offer the highest level of safety currently available anywhere. The D-Air Racing system is the result of tireless research for more than 10 years by D-Tec working in close partnership with important research organizations like the University of Padova, the specialist in 2D detection systems, and with indispensable cooperation from motorcycle racing champions on racetracks around the world. The D-Air Racing system consists of an airbag that inflates upon command by an electronic trigger system that is not attached to the motorcycle in any way. The system is housed inside the aerodynamic spoiler in a racing suit. The extra weight of just 650g more than a traditional suit and the system's reduced dimensions keeps riding comfort levels high while also preserving the fit and good ergonomics. All this helps keep the rider's attention concentrated on driving and the pursuit of the highest performance in conditions of complete safety.
