The trousers use Armacor tech, making it 100% waterproof and 100% windproof, but at the same time breathable keeping you well ventilated. As with all Rukka products, safety is a major concern and the 3M reflectors are to provide high-visibility when lit in low light.
The Rukka Argonaut Trousers use Armacor technology that is completely waterproof, windproof and breathable; a 3-layer construction Gore Tex membrane bonded to Armacor outer with Kevlar core technology and robust inner lining. Safety is a big design focus for Rukka, therefore all outerwear garments feature additional screen printing using 3M Scotchlite, a latex ink combined with retro-reflective lenses to provide a high-visiblity presence of the rider when lit in low light conditions. The Cordura material the jacket is made from has a much higher abrasion resistance than nylon, and Rukka only use Cordura with a minimum fibre strength of at least 500 denier, giving a benchmark in safety standards. The adjustable waist closure and detachable inner lining mean you can fine tune the comfort of the jacket to perfect it to your needs.
