Trade-in your old gear and get a discount towards your new outfit.
How does it work?
You bring in an item of clean bike gear (helmets, jackets, boots etc) to donate to our collection, and we will give you 15% off the total of your next purchase.
Why are you collecting old gear?
We want to help people upgrade their old gear, but we don’t just want to sell you new gear. We also want to give something back to the community. So, after sorting through our collection of trade-in gear, we will be donating the reusable items to charities, to help them raise money.
What does the discount apply to?
The discount will be valid on all items purchased when trading in an item. This includes items on sale but excludes items we price match, Ruroc and Klim.
For example, you bring in your clean Frank Thomas jacket that has served you well for the past 15 years, and you choose a lovely set of Rev’it Gore-Tex jacket and trousers, and even treat yourself to a new pair of gloves from our sale section while you’re at it, and we’ll give you 15% off the total!
I’ve seen something cheaper elsewhere, will you beat it by 15%?
This offer does not apply on top of our price match policy. However, we will still match prices as usual, and we would love it if you would still consider donating your old gear to our collection for donation to charity.
My old gear is not in great condition, can I still trade it in?
Our only stipulation is that the items you bring in are clean. While we would prefer good condition gear that the charities will be able to reuse, we will go through the collection after the trade-in and make decisions on the quality, so you don’t have to.
We will accept helmets for trade-in, however for safety reasons, these will not be donated for reuse.
I have multiple items to trade-in, can I get a better discount?
Nice try. The trade-in discount is capped at 15%, however this will apply to all the items that you purchase,including slae items. Please feel free to bring in as many items as you can though, as they will being going towards helping charities.
Can I redeem this offer online?
This is an in-store offer only. However, we can ship your goods to you at no extra charge if you aren’t able to cram everything into a top box. We do run many deals online throughout the year, so make sure you’re following all our social channels @BikeStopUK so you don’t miss them!
When does the trade-in finish?
We will be running the trade-in until Tuesday 31st October. If you are not able to make it to us before then, please contact events@bikestop.co.uk and we will try to accommodate you, within reason.
