Our new Keis heated gear range for 2022

The weather is still cold, wet and horrible and us summer riders can’t wait for the nicer weather to come. With that being said there is gear that is a god send to us all… heated equipment! We can all thank brands like Keis for their amazing products. In this blog im going to go over all of what have Keis have to offer for 2022.

To start things off, let’s talk about heated gloves. Not too keen on heated grips but want warm hands in the winter? Well Keis offer multiple different styles of heated gloves, the only problem you’ll is have is being stuck for choices. And brand new for 2022 Keis have added more to their range such as the; G701S bonded textile and the G301 3 finger glove.

The G701S bonded textile gloves short cuffed gloves (now without the battery pocket) fit nicely under tighter cuff jackets which is great for not letting the heat out. These can be powered directly from the bike or other Keis products such as the heated jacket or the heated vest. They use a Ballistic spandex outer shell with a semi bonded hipora waterproof and breathable membrane. The hydrophobic textile is attached to the waterproof membrane using a bonding tape. This is used on the palm, fingers and top areas.

The G301 are very similar to the G701S in the sense that they use a hydrophobic textile that is bonded to a hipora waterproof breathable membrane. The biggest bonus to these gloves is that they’ll keep you’re hands the warmest as where the fingers are closer together and there’s less dedicated finger pockets for the heat to escape. 3 finger gloves help keep the heat in. These gloves also use an extra 3M thinsulate layer for extra comfort and warmth. With these gloves the heating elements are at the top of the fingers and across the back of your hand. Like the G701S these too can be connected to a 12V vehicle battery or they can be used with a specific Keis glove battery.

Next on the 2022 list for Keis, are the S302 heated socks and these are a life saver for those who suffer with really cold feet. These are designed to be worn between your normal socks and your footwear as they shouldn’t be worn directly on bare skin and it is important that you wear them with waterproof boots as the socks are not waterproof. In the box they come with Y leads and vehicle power supply lead.

Another item on the list for 2022 are the Keis heated trousers T103RP. The temperatures have plummeted and if you’re taking the bike out through the winter you’re going to want warm legs and the Keis T103RP are a great option. A cool feature for these trousers are that they have a controller connection flap where you can store the power controller or the Bluetooth power controller. The trousers don’t come stock with a power controller but it is a worthwhile investment as you can control how hot you want them. The also feature a breathable soft lightweight shell for maximum comfort. These trousers draw 3.25A which is a rather high current so we recommend that you don’t use these with a portable battery as they won’t stay warm for too long.

Now, my favourite item that was added to the line-up for 2022 is the Keis heated puffer jacket J801, it’s causal looking that you can wear on the streets or on the bike. It can be connected to a portable battery r directly to the bike. It comes stock with a built in power controller, a light system that shows the battery life, 3M thinsulate featherless insulation, the latest micro carbon fibre for advanced heat radiation. The heat panels are across the chest and down the back and draws a current of 1.4A.

Lastly on the list, is the Bluetooth power controller which will connect to the Keis icontrol app which is compatible with all other Keis garments that don’t feature a built in power controller. The power controller is water resistant and has a rating of IP65 with current overload protection of 10A.

That about wraps it up for the 2022 line-up for Keis products and we look forward to getting them as we know that anyone after heated equipment will love these. These will make the perfect winter riding companions for commuting and just going out having some fun.
